About Kami
I’m a family and senior photographer based near Denali National Park, Alaska, capturing families in the beautiful, fleeting seasons of real life.

As a lifelong Alaskan and a mom of four daughters, I understand just how quickly childhood moves. The days are full, the seasons feel short, and sometimes the moments
we want to remember most are the ones happening in the middle of ordinary life.

My approach is natural and gently guided — creating photographs that feel like your family, not a perfectly posed version of it. I want you to look back years from now and recognize not just how life looked, but how it felt to be together in this season.

When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me organizing some sort of event for our church, cheering on my kids at school events, firing up our homemade pizza oven, or adding a little extra holiday magic in the everyday wherever I can. My husband Dakota and I are raising our own little Alaskans — four girls and one very tiny teacup poodle — right here in the place we’re grateful to call home.

It’s an honor to help families and visitors alike preserve memories surrounded by Alaska’s wild beauty.
